Episode 1 - Encounter - Sword Drill

Encounter with Suite of Armor

As you enter the room you can see rows of pews all arranged toward a raised stage with a podium. The room is dimly lit, and music plays in the background. Every few feet along the wall stands suits of armor.

You catch movement in the periphery of your vision. As you turn your head to investigate you see the nearest suite of armor shift slightly. The suite of armor statue steps forward to block your path. You hear a voice from inside the armored figure say:

Have you read your bible today? Only those who can defeat my sword drills may enter this chapel.

As the armored statue brandishes it’s sword it presents its chest to you. A touch screen embedded in the chest plate lights up.

I have bested you. You are not fit to enter this chapel.

The statue takes a step toward you closing the distance between you. It quickly raises the sword hilt and then thrusts it down on your head.

You have fought well. Stay alert, for there are many dangers ahead.

The statue steps back and clutches it's sword. Your path forward is no longer blocked.
